About the Baskets
'O' Deer Baskets are hand crafted from antlers found in the woods or collected from hunters. The frame and ribbing of the basket is constructed from reed and the weaving is done with different ply of sea grass depending on the size antler. Most antlers are deer from the Pacific Northwest and occasionally elk.
Baskets come in 3 different sizes; small, medium and large. Each antler used brings its own story and originality for the final product. Most of the baskets are displayed at Greenwater Outfitters in Greenwater, WA, located on hwy 410 on your way to Rainier National Park or Crystal Mountain.
